ABOUT the AUTHOR
Bill Mullins received his Ph.D. from the University of Washington. He is Professor Emeritus of History at Oklahoma Baptist University and lives in Federal Way, Washington.
Bill published an earlier book about Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, and Portland during the Hoover years of the Great Depression. His articles on twentieth-century American history have appeared in the Pacific Northwest Quarterly; Nine: A Journal of Baseball, History, and Culture; and The Chronicles of Oklahoma.
When he is not researching and writing he enjoys golf and running.
